Trends in Marine Insurance & Streamlining the Process
Presented By: Mark Gargula
FREE Live Webinar
This seminar, led by Mark Gargula, an insurance expert from Gowrie Group, will provide Yacht Brokers and YBAA members with an overview of the key trends we are experiencing in the Marine Insurance marketplace. First, he will dive into a discussion on how widely marine insurance policies can differ from one policy to the next, and that not all policies include the same coverages. He will point out the most important variances to look for when making choices between policies. The second topic will explore the contributing factors to today’s “Hard” Marine Insurance marketplace, and what that means for yacht brokers and yacht owners as we move into 2020. The third and final topic will be an interactive discussion on strategies, tactics, and tools that Yacht Brokers (and a knowledgeable insurance agent) can utilize to help facilitate and streamline the insurance process for customers buying their first boat and for customers looking to purchase a boat that is a big step-up in length. There will be time at the end of the seminar for open questions and answers.
